Red Steagall’s Cowboy Gathering In Photos

After 32 years, this beloved cowboy poetry event has morphed into a much larger gathering with this primary goal: celebrate the people who live on horseback to provide food for our tables and support the younger generation to do the same. This October, Red Steagall’s Cowboy Gathering brought folks from all over the country to the Fort Worth Stockyards for a celebration of Western heritage.

Red Steagall, the official Cowboy Poet of Texas, has recorded, written, sung, and broadcasted for the last 50 years all over the globe (PHOTOGRAPHY: Courtesy Click Thompson).
